We’re here to provide your child with compassionate, coordinated care from admission through discharge, supporting you every step of the way.
Your child's care team
During your child's stay, you will be supported by a collaborative care team that will include some or all of the following based on your child's needs:
• Hospitalist providers (MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs, etc.)
• Registered nurses (RNs)
• Certified nursing assistants (CNAs)
• Case managers (CMs) & Social workers (SWs)
• Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
• Physical, occupational or speech language pathology therapists (PT/OT/SLP)
• Consulting specialists (cardiologists, neurologists, surgeons, etc.)
Our team communicates daily to ensure your child’s care is safe, coordinated and personalized.
Testing and imaging
Your child's physician may order lab work, imaging and other diagnostic tests to guide your child's care. It can take several hours to several days for these results to be completed, based on the type of test. We will keep you updated when these results are returned, and you may also see them in your child's patient portal, My Baptist Chart.
